This policy explains what the Loftily Hawker app does and does not do with information. It is written to describe the app's actual behaviour, not a generic template.
Who we are
Loftily Hawker, a supplier of hotel and hospitality amenities based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Contact details are at the end of this policy.
Information the app collects
We do not collect personal information through the app. There is no registration, no login, and no user account. We do not receive your name, email address, phone number, location or device identifiers simply because you installed or opened the app.
Information stored on your device
The app saves a small amount of information locally, in your device's browser storage. This never leaves your device and we cannot read it:
- Your enquiry list — the product codes and quantities you add. Prices are not stored; they are read fresh each time so you always see current rates.
- Property, contact name and city — only if you type them into the enquiry form, and only until you send or clear the list.
- Install prompt preference — a single flag recording that you dismissed the "Install app" banner, so it does not keep reappearing.
Clearing the app's data, uninstalling it, or clearing your browser storage removes all of this permanently.
When information is sent, and where
Information leaves your device only when you actively choose to send it:
- WhatsApp — tapping "Send on WhatsApp" opens WhatsApp with your enquiry prepared as a message. You decide whether to send it. Once sent, the message is handled by WhatsApp and governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Email — tapping "Send by email" opens your email app with the enquiry prepared. You decide whether to send it.
- Phone — tapping a phone number opens your dialler. No call is placed automatically.
If you send us an enquiry, we receive what you sent: the products and quantities, and any property, contact or city details you chose to include. We use it only to prepare your quotation and respond to you.
Analytics, tracking and advertising
The app contains no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising SDKs, no third-party marketing tools and no cookies used for tracking. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell or share information with data brokers.
Third-party content
The app loads its own content only. It does not embed third-party scripts. Two things open outside the app when you tap them:
- Catalogue PDFs and the full website, hosted at www.loftilyhawker.com
- WhatsApp, your email app, or your phone dialler
Once you leave the app, the privacy policy of that service applies.
Offline use
The app stores its own screens and images on your device so it opens quickly and works without a connection. Prices are never stored offline — this is deliberate, so you are never shown an out-of-date rate. Without a connection the app will tell you pricing is unavailable rather than display a stale figure.
Permissions
The app requests no device permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, location or calendar.
Children
The app is a business-to-business tool intended for hospitality buyers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because the app itself collects nothing, there is normally nothing for us to delete. If you have sent us an enquiry by WhatsApp or email and want the details we hold corrected or deleted, contact us and we will action it.
Pricing information
Prices shown in the app are indicative, ex-works, and exclude GST, freight and applicable taxes. Minimum order quantities apply. Final rates are confirmed in writing at the time of quotation.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a revised date at the top.
